So I'm in the final stages of getting my whole study abroad to France worked out. Being my typical self, I put everything off until the last minute - including my visa application. I'm supposed to schedule an appointment with the embassy online, but when I went to do so they were already booked up through the 8th, which is when I start La Vida. So I won't be able to apply for my French visa until the day after I get back, which is the 21st - only 2 weeks before I leave. It can take up to 3 weeks. Let's hope I receive the Lord's favor, and the favor of the French embassy.
I'm still a little in shock as I just realized a few days ago how close my upcoming adventure is. I just purchased my plane flight about a week ago. I'm going to be doing some intensive French recap before I go; just review my language tenses, vocab and such. I'm slightly nervous and very excited. This is going to be an incredible few months!
